Employment Opportunities

In order to ensure a true Bahamian experience to the maximum extent possible, shops and other amenities will be leased to Bahamian operators, and local Bahamian labor, services, contractors and products will be utilized throughout the resort. In addition, the resort will create several hundred full time jobs within the community, many of which will be managerial. It is the developer’s sincere hope that this project will be a catalyst in providing Cat Islanders an opportunity to prosper and others an opportunity to return home.

According to an Economic Impact study prepared for the project, construction of the Project over its 25 year build out will generate 144 full-time jobs. Ongoing operations of the Project during that period are estimated to generate an additional 937 full-time jobs.
